CARING HANDS

We are excited to relaunch a meaningful initiative—what began as a short-term project in the past has recently resumed and is now being established as a long-term project.

Caring hands is dedicated to serving and uplifting the elderly in our community through practical care, meaningful connection, and spiritual support. The elderly we serve only receive one provided meal per day and are left to provide for themselves for the rest. However, the majority spend nearly all of their monthly funds on accommodation, making it extremely difficult to afford groceries and other essential food items.

To help alleviate this burden, we provide a nutritious, home-cooked meal every second month and a food parcel in the alternating months. These efforts ensure that they not only have access to additional food support but also feel seen, valued, and cared for.

While we currently provide physical support through meals and food parcels, the heart of this project is to grow into something much deeper. Our dream is to journey alongside the elderly not only in meeting their physical needs, but also by offering friendship, emotional support, and spiritual care. In time, through regular visits, intentional conversations, and shared community moments, we hope to bring comfort, restore dignity, and remind each person that they are deeply valued and never alone.
